Special Filter In My Query

I have a field in one of my queries that’s named “Ending Date†which I want
to apply a special filter that will only show the condition below. Does
anyone know what formula I need so I can make this happen? Any help is
greatly appreciated.

*Condition: I want to see all dates that end in 1/1/1753 but if a date is
greater than 12/01/09 then I want to see that instead

In the criteria for that field put the following:

= #1/1/1753# Or > #12/01/2009#

I tried that filter already but I’m getting both values with that formula
(1/1/1753 & 12/01/09) What I need is that once I put a condition that if the
date is greater than 12/01/09 then I only want that date to show up and not
the 1/1/1753.
