Can anyone tell me what the minimum specs are for running office 2000 and office xp on the same pc and any possible implications of this.

Requirements for Office 2000:

Requirements for Office XP:

I've found it's best to exceed the minimum requirements. Otherwise
Office will run - but it may not run as expected.
