Hello,

The computers in the office use Microsoft Outlook to connect to the mail
server. From Monday evening an error message started appearing:

"Send test email message: The specified server was found, but there was no
response from the server.

Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct. To access these
settings close this dialog, then click More Settings and click on the
Advanced tab."

However, mail can be sent from Outlook Express.

* I can receive mail using Microsoft Outlook

* I tried Port 587

Do you have any idea why this is occuring?

are Outlook and Outlook Express both configured to use SSL?

did this problem arise without any changes to the computers in the office?
the issue just started happening to multiple workstations all of a sudden on
Monday eve?

Hello,

The web hosting provider restarted their mail service, and that resolved the
issue.
