Hi, I read this in the specs of ms access 97:
Number of objects in a database 32,768

What does that means? I have a table with an autonumber as
primary key, how many entries can I have in this table?

thank you

Simon

Simon,
Hi, I read this in the specs of ms access 97:

The above refers to Tables, Queries, Forms, etc.

This is data. There is no limit on the number of records a table can
contain, as long as your Access 97 database does not exceed 1GB in total MDB
file size.

Hi Simon,

- Objects are forms, reports, queries, etc.
- The limitation on an Access Database size is the physical file size: 1GB
for Access97 and 2GB for Access2000. So there is no limit as to how many
entries (i.e. records) you can enter into tables as long as the file size is
below the above limits.
