speech recognition in XP Home??

This may be an inappropriate newsgroup for this question,
but I need help: I am running XP Home, and read that I
should be able to use built-in speech recognition, which
I really need. Word 2002 is installed. When I try to load
it, it asks for the separate Student and Teachers
software. Is the speech recognition NOT really built in
after all, or am I doing something wrong? Many thanks.

Office XP does have the ability to use speech recognition. If you are being
prompted for the Office Standard for Students and Teachers CD, you need to
put the CD in when it is requested.
