Speech Recognition Problem

Help!!! I am a student, and I just bought Office 2003.
I began using speech recognition with Word, and it was
working fine - until today. While composing a document
using speech recognition it began to freeze up. When I
speak into the mic., I get an error message "too loud",
and then speech recognition freezes. Word still works,
but speech recognition doesnt. I even tried
uninstalling/reinstalling Office and speech recognition,
but the problem persists. Can it be fixed???

Try turning down the microphone volume control. Double-click the Speaker
Icon in the system tray to get to it.
