Speech Recognition system modifications

Our school uses "Clean Slate" to keep the kids from messing things up too much. They would like to use Speech Recognition with Word but find that their profiles disappear when they log off. Can anyone tell me where the profile files are stored and what registry changes are being made? I can setup the CS to allow changes if I know where/what they are. Thanks!!!
