Speech Recognition using my own created macros

In Word 2002 & 2003, I could correct students' papers quickly by loading a
template with macros I created. Then, I spoke the name of the macro into my
microphone and my macro was inserted into the student's paper.

For example, if the student wrote: "I am a studdnet," I'd put my cursor
behind the word "studdnet," say "spelling error" into the mike, and Word 2003
would insert my macro, so you'd see this: "I am a studdnet"<<Careful! Check
the spelling.>>

Can anyone help me set up Vista to do the same? I'm using Word 2007.

Hi Rory,

For Office XP (2002) and Office 2003 Microsoft included MS Speech/dictation
(http://microsoft.com/speech) tools with the Office product. They did not
do so with the Office 2007 product, returning that product portion to the
Windows teams. MS Windows Vista comes with its own dication tools that can
be used with Word but I've not done any work with MS Office macros/VBA to
try to control it. You may want to check with the MS Speech folks (links to
their discussion groups are available via the MS site linked above).
