Running Win XP (Home), Word 2003,
and Office 2000 with all updates applied.
Are any of you using Speech Recognition
with your copy of Word? I seldom see a
reference to Speech Recognition. Searched
mvps.org for "Speech Recognition" but only
got three hits and two didn't didn't seem
related to speech.
I've trained my instance of Speech Recognition
but when dictating, it can't distinguish between
the word "one" and the number "1" and so forth.
There's no training for numbers, punctuation...
I've trained four of the six "read-me" files loaded
with Speech Recognition installation.
Word 2003 online help provides fair coverage
for setting up Speech Recognition, but provides
little data for real-world use of the facility.
Any advice and pointers for using Speech
Recognition would be appreciated.
