speech recognition

I have installed speech recognition (windows xp) but I can
not find the "language bar" to use the speech recognition
in "Word". I have been to "Regional and Language Options"
in the control panel, gone to "details" an can't
access "language bar." Can someone offer a suggestion?

When you right-click the Windows Taskbar (along the bottom of the windows),
does Language Bar show up under Toolbars?
