I'm running Excel 2002 on a laptop with a Windows XP
environment. Ever since I got the computer with the
Office package already loaded I get a message every time
I open Excell that says "Welcome to Office Speech
Recognition." It then throws me into another window that
wants me to set up my speech recognition. I don't intend
to use speech recognition with this program and have
tried by going into the tools menu and unchecking the
speech recognition option, but every time I open the
program again I have to go through the process of closing
these two windows. How can I get rid of them permanently?
