Speech synthesis in MS Word 2002

I'm running MS Word 2002 (SP3) and Windows XP Professional.

A couple of time I've accidentally issued some special key combination
(e.g, maybe alt- or ctrl- with another key) that has caused Word to
launch a speech-synthesis reading of the document text. That is, an
automated voice starts reciting the document.

This is a nice feature. However, I cannot find in the help of MS Word
2002 an explanation of it, or what the exact command to launch it is.
(I can find such information in Excel 2002, but that doesn't help
much).

Can anybody tell me the exact key-combination that launches speech
synthesis in MS Word 2002? Can it also be started from regular menu
commands?

Hi John,

From your description you may have activated the Windows Narrator feature
Start=>Accessories=>Accessibility=>Narrator
It's default 'hotkey' is Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar.

You may find the Office XP Text to Speech feature to be more helpful.
