Speed of Entourage in Rosetta

I'd love to get a new Intel Mac, but I use Entourage constantly, and I'm
afraid it will be slow in Rosetta.

Anyone here with a new Intel Mac who can tell their experience regarding
performance of Entourage?

Thanks,
Jim

I have been using Pocketmac lite, no Entourage with lite, but it is
SLOW with first sync with my new Intel Mac with a gig of Ram.
Considering upgrade to Pocketmac Pro that will integrate with
Entourage. I synced about 500 contacts and calendar with native icall
and address book.

Jim,

I should noet that subsequent syncs with Pocketmac lite are certainly
fast enough. No Active Sync but...

BTW: I am syncing with 3 partnerships on my Ipaq 6515. Two PCs and
Intel Mac.
I sync with PC at work, PC at home and new dual core Mac. Using
MyDocsUnlimited for third partnership.

[I have not bought Entourage because of issues with drag and drop to
Calendar).

I can't speak from experience (at least, not yet - I plan to get a macBook
in a week or two!), however, I have seem many reports that say there is a
slightly longer startup time for entourage, but once running the speed
difference is undetectable.

Thanks, Barry. That's good to hear. Enjoy your new MacBook!
