whats the least mhz and memory you would dare run access97 with windows
2000?
A bare bones Windows 2000 system takes 52 Mb. (According to a test
session I have running inside VMWare.) But by the time you load on
anti virus, CD Rom burner drivers, software firewall, etc, this could
be as much as another 80 to 100 Mb.
You'll have to take a look at your own environment to decide what is
acceptable but I'd say 128 Mb as a minimum. I'd prefer 256 to give
lots of room for other apps to be running.
As far as Mhz goes you I've happily run A97 on a P133 I think. It
might even happily run on a 486 just be kinda sluggish.
