Speed up Access queries on SQL 7

We recently moved a SQL 7 reporting database to new, faster server. Users that query this database through Access are now complaining that they are much, much slower. I have zero Access experience. can someone suggest what may be the problem?

Is the issue possibly on the SQL side? If there is

latency in the server, heavy usage may be the cause. Do
you have someone who might have changed indexes on tables
which are being queried? If people are not having issues
with other applications, you may be having general network
issues or ODBC issues. Ensure that no one changed code in
the queries and also ensure that adequate virtual memory
exists on the end user's PC.
