Speed Up Attachment of commonly sent files

I'm hoping to speed up the process of sending commonly attached documents. is there some kind of function which allows an Outlook user to view and choose a document(s) from a list of commonly sent files when composing a new email?

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Create drafts of the common messages. When you wish to send them, open the
Drafts folder, right-click the appropriate one and choose Forward.
Alternatively, create the common messages and save them as templates (.oft
files).

It's not common MESSAGES the OP wants. It's frequently used file types to be
attached to messages....

My point is that the OP could create the drafts with the attachments already
in place. Since he said that the files are "commonly sent", clearly they
don't change. Consequently, creating the drafts or templates with the
attachments already there is a viable option.

Thank you both for the comments!

Brian, your ideas are very close to the functionality I was looking for. Your idea of saving a draft or a template with the file already attached allows me to send the same file (regardless of type) without going through the steps of finding the file and attaching it. I currently spend a lot of time navigating through the same set of folders to attach the same group of documents. Thank you for the idea.

It would be nice to have a “My Favorites” for attachments. This would allow people who are using outlook as a plug-in with a host program to still initiate an email through the host program and attach those commonly sent documents quickly. This wouldn’t be as easy with the email template or email draft idea.

If you have any other thoughts I’d love to hear them.

Thanks again.

David
