Spell and Grammar check error msgs.

When I run my spelling and grammar check, It doesn't work completely and I
get the following error messages. Word cannot find grammar file msgr??32.dll
for. & Word cannot find find files MSSpell3.dll and mssp32.dll for. I have
tried going to tools to language to set language and uncheck the boxes, did
default and hit ok. Reran spell check and still got the error msgs. I have
also done detect and repair.

I had exactly the same problem and after much trying I did get the solution
here. I'll find my notes and summarise them for you, if someone hasn't
solved it first!

OK. I can't find those notes so this is from memory and I'm no expert! These
notes apply to Word 2000 and possibly other versions. I was plagued by this
on just one document. Here (from memory) is the solution:

You get those messages when part or all of the document has been either
prepared (or pasted into) using some other language and/or the document is
corrupted languagewise.

1 Open the troublesome document.

2 Go into Edit and choose select all.

3 Go into Tools | Language | select language.
Actually highlight and select the required language (Aust English in my
case). Do this positively, ie select the language and click on OK, even if
it already appears to be selected.

4 Save the now updated document.

Please tell us if this solves the problem. As I said, I had exactly the same
problem and it took a good few posts to get the reply (and some more time
before I followed the instructions properly). The solver was Cindy, I think.
