spell check action?

Is there a scripted action or something like that which will turn off
the "Check spelling as you type" preference when the document starts?
My client does not want users to have to turn it off manually... and
doesn't want the red lines to show for the medical terms PPT doesn't
recognize...

This feature isn't "exposed" to VBA (the built-in scripting language for
Office), so it can't be controlled that way. Perhaps via AppleScript? Anybody
know how to set preferences that way?

Another possible alternative: in the past I've seen ads for spelling
dictionaries that include medical, legal or other specialized sets of
terminology. By installing one of those you eliminate the spurious red lines
and make sure that spelling checker continues to do its job.
