Spell Check does not fix incorrect spelling in WORD 2008 for MAC

Microsoft Word 2008 for Mac - Version 12.2

I run SPELL CHECK on a word document. The spell / grammer check stops
and identifies things like company names, names of things, names of
people. In this case you can choose to ignore it or fix it.

The problem I am having is that spell check DOES NOT IDENTIFY
incorrectly spelled words. I type words incorrectly, run spell check
again and it does not identify the word.

This is an Entourage support group. You'll get more help with Word in the
Word group.

Check under Preferences for Spelling. Make sure you have everything set
correctly.
