Spell Check does not gives suggestions

In Outlook 2002, the spell check will find an incorrect
spelling but does not give any suggestions to replace it
with. I've check the settings under Tools-Options-
Spelling and "Alway suggestion replacement for misspelled
words".
Any other suggestions?

I have gone to Word and it is checked for "always
suggest"--in both Word & Outlook. Any other ideas?
