Spell check does not work in Word, anyone know what is wrong?

You'll have to give us a few more clues...
- What version of Word are you using?
- What is the default language of your Office installation? For
example, is it English (US) or English (UK) or something else?
- What does "not work" mean? Do you get any messages or errors? If so,
quote them exactly.
- Has it ever worked? Does it work in some documents and not others?
- What are the settings in the Tools > Options > Spelling & Grammar
dialog and the Tools > Language > Set Language dialog?
