Spell check doesn't work

the spell check doesn't work in word 2007. I have checked all the word
proofing options and autoformat options and it seems that all the check marks
are correct. Any advice

Check if the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0\Override" exists and if it does delete it.
