Spell check failure

I am having problems with spell check in word 2007. I have read the other
posts and tried the different remedies but none work. My spell checker will
work on one page but then stop when I start a new page in the same document.
If I have a document and do a "save as" call it something else and make
changes it will not work, but if I copy and paste into a new document it will
work. I did not have an override in the registry, my language is set to
English and I don't have any disabled add-in's.
Please help, I need my spell checker!
