Spell Check Icon ..???

My girlfriend has just bought Word for Mac, and as she is not terribly
computer literate tends to use the toolbar icons almost exclusively.
There seems to be no spellcheck icon appearing in the toolbar nor can I
find a way to add one to the toolbar in the customise section... Any
ideas...???

Thanks for that, worked straight off..!!

Maybe you can helpme with another quick query, I seem to have to press
enter in order for changes to take place, i.e. change font, or font
size, copy paste etc. This has never happened to me before.

Johnny,

Sorry I can't answer your question.

You'd best post this under a new heading that describes the problem, since
some regularly here don't necessarily look at spelling problems (which your
new topic isn't), and it's confusing if the thread goes on.

You will also need to give fairly precise details of exactly what is
happening before anyone can provide real help. Don't spare the detail!

And please start with your OS and Word versions.

Cheers,

* A SUGGESTION -- WAIT FOR CONSIDERED ADVICE: If you post a question, keep
re-visiting the newsgroup for several days after the first response comes
in. Sometimes it takes a few responses before the best or complete solution
is proposed; sometimes you'll be asked for further information so that a
better answer can be provided. Good tips about getting the best out of
posting are at http://word.mvps.org/FindHelp/Posting.htm (if you use Safari
you may see a blank page and have to hit the circular arrow icon -- "Reload
the current page" -- a few times).
