What I've tried:
In new email click Tools, Language, (English U.S. is highlighted) but the Do
not check spelling and grammer is checked as is the box below.
I uncheck the first box and click Default. I then run the spell check with
known errors and the spell check doesn't pick them up.
I start a new email to see if my changes stuck and both boxes are still
checked.
Go to main screen and click Start -> Programs -> Microsoft Office ->
Microsoft Office Tools -> Microsoft 2003 Language Settings and English U.S.
is listed in the right hand column under Enabled Languages but it is
lowlighted. The Available Languages in the left side column defaults to "All
Scripts". Drop down that menu and select Western European/US but English U.S.
does not come up.
It is listed below in the box titled Choose the language that defines
default behavior in Microsoft Applications.
After all this, the spell check still doesn't work.
What do I do now?
