Spell check not working properly

When I begin to spellcheck a document, spellcheck works, but just for one or two corrections.

When I try to deal with the second (or third) possible error -- even though "Change," "Add" and "Ignore" are highlighted -- nothing happens when I click on them. If — though — I close the tools box and begin again, the "Change," "Add" and "Ignore" is allowed.

Help! I don't want to open and close the "Spelling and Grammar" box after each edit.

I have a similar problem except that my spellcheck stops working when I cut and paste from another file (which is usually not a Word file but WP or NeoOffice).

Yes. That's a known bug and will hopefully be fixed in Service Pack 12.1.0,
which is close now.

In the meantime, the only work-around is to run the Check Spelling as You
Type feature and correct the mistaykes as you go.

Cheers

I'll take a wild guess and say that your problem is nothing like the other
one -- completely different cause.

However, you didn't give your version numbers, so I can't answer the
question.
