Spell Check Office Professional Suite 2007

DKC

Spell Check in Office Professional Suites 2007 is not working for word,
outlook and excel.

I have already checked to see that the Set Language dialog box does not have
the "Do not check spelling or grammar box" ticked.

I reinstalled the program.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Douglas

Correction - it breaks the spell check in Outlook EXPRESS - Outlook works fine.

After furious head scratching, Peter Foldes asked:

| The best solution is to install a good 3rd party spell check

I beg to disagree with Peter and Milly and do agree with DKC--spell check
does NOT work in ANY of my Office 2007 products, notably, Word, Powerpoint
and Excel. I have tried everything and still no solution.

Is anyone from Microsoft reading this? This seems like a real problem.

Office 2007 does break the spell check of Outlook Express as outlined in
my blog post that was linked to in this thread.
As to the spell check in Office itself, there could be something else
going on. If you run spell check manually, do you get any error message?
Is this Office button blinking? Did you have any previous version of
Office installed?
