spell check

for some reason my spell check has stoped working in certain paragraphs of a
paper i'm working on. message pops up saying something to the effect of:
spell check has checked document except the do not check sections. I have
typed in a word that i know is spelled wrong and nothing happens. Help!

Press Ctrl+A to select the whole document.

If this is Word 2003 or earlier, click Tools > Language > Set
Language. If it's Word 2007, click Review > Set Language (this is the
right-hand button in the second row of the Proofing group at the left
end).

Click the "Do not check spelling or grammar" checkbox once or twice
until it's completely empty (no checkmark or square inside it). Click
OK. Then rerun the spell check.
