Spell check

Lately my spell check has not been working correctly.
When I request a spell check it says text marked was not
spell checked. The only info I could find is that if you
highlight what you want spell checked, then go to
Tools,Language and then Set Language and took the check
mark out of "Do Not Check Spelling or Grammar" box. It
would then complete the spell check. But then next time I
would try it, it would be the same, and the box would be
checked again and would not spell check. Would appreciate
help from anyone. Thanks Carol

Select all of your text (Ctrl-A) and then uncheck that box.

Check your style definitions to see if this is specified in any of them.

If you need more help on this, please specify the version of Word you are
using.

Select the entire document (Ctrl+A), go to Tools | Language | Set Language,
and select the correct language. Clear the check boxes for "Do not check
spelling or grammar" and "Setect language automatically."
