Spell check

My spell check has never worked. I purposely misspell words and they are not
caught. I have tried every suggestion here and I have gotten nowhere. Can
someone PLEASE help.

CTRL+A then tools > language > set language (set to your regional language
and uncheck the do not check spelling or grammar check box). Word 2007 has
similar functions accessed from the Review tab.
