Is it possible to have the spell check icon on the tool bar as in previous versions of Word?

This thing seems to me to be poorly thought out from a user standpoint.

Thanks for any help you can give. The auto correct thing doesn't work other than to underline a misspelling.

Did you try customizing the toolbar??
Otherwise, you always use the icon in the bottom bar of your Word
documents.
