Spell checker is on but not working

I have everything ticked as required for spell checker - it underlines
duplicate words and checks the grammar, but when I use spell checker and also
when I send emails, it lets miss-spelt words go through that are OBVIOUSLY
wrong. I am using Outlook 2007 and have downloaded SP1, but this has not
corrected it. Any ideas? Help?? :)
