Spell checker problem

Yet another problem with Publisher 2007 (sigh).

When I try to add a word to the dictionary after spell check flags it, I
get the message "Publisher cannot load the speller or dictionary".

And then the advice to do a custom install and add the speller.

I did a custom install and it indicated the speller was already
installed. I installed it again. Didn't work.

I uninstalled it and installed it again and rebooted. Didn't work.

I did a repair on the program. Didn't work.

Any ideas besides a complete program uninstall and reinstall?

TIA,
Craig

Mary -

Thanks for the response.

The registry key does not exist on my computer.

The hotfix description seems to indicate that all it does is allow more
words in the English dictionary, but I downloaded it anyway. But when I
tried to install it, I got a message that said: "The expected version of
the product was not found on the system" (I only have Publisher, not the
full Office suite, if that matters).

Full reinstall?
