spell checking not working ina table

Running windows xp pro and office xp pro on a 6 month old
Dell. Problems with word 2002. In a two column table,
automatic spell check works until I put a graphic in the
second column of the table (from snagit). All automatic
spell checking stops in the second column of the table.
Word has SP-2 installed, xp all up to date. Any ideas?

Notice that the language portion in reveal formatting
shows "do not check spelling and grammer" has been
selected.

Any ideas?

Select the column, go to Tools | Language | Set Language and clear the "Do
not check spelling and grammar" check box.

Thanks Suzzane,
Did what you recommended whne I saw the language
problem. Was trying to dinf out if anyone knew what
tuned on the option to stop spell checking since I did
nothing to try to select that option
