Spell checking text boxes in Locked MSWord forms

D

Doc Fultzy

I would like to develop MSWord forms which allow the end-user
(Principal Investigators) to use the spell check and grammar check
features on the information they typed into a text field on a locked
MSWord form.

Unfortunately, the coding for these text fields prohibits the use of
these features. Microsoft has suggested coding macros that can be
incorporated into the forms to allow these features; however, the use
of the macros would require the end users to understand how to use,
implement, and turn off the macros. This is not an option for my 800+
end users, who, based on historical experiences, would not appreciate
any procedure that takes more than two clicks.

Does anyone know how the above can be accomplished? I suspect I am not
the only creator of forms with this question.
