Spell - ignore replies

I

Invalid

I have my options set to check spelling before sending email. That works
OK. When I reply to or forward a note, however, I don't want to wade
through all the misspellings in the original note. Thus, I checked: "Ignore
original message text in reply or forward". Outlook insists, however, on
checking the spelling there, too. I'm using Word as my email editor; does
that make a difference?

What's particularly annoying is that the spell check *starts* with the
original text, so I have to go through all of that just to check my text.
Is there something I'm missing, or any way to get this option to really
work?

Thanks.
