Spellcheck errors

When using Spellcheck in Word 2003, I often misspell a word that had been
flagged in Spellcheck. But sometimes instead of the dialog box "You have
chosen a word which does not appear in the main or custom dictionaries..."
Spellcheck accepts my misspelling. These are not spellings that are in the
Word dictionaries; I've checked my custom dictionaries and some of my
misspellings are so blatant, I know they are not in the Main Dictionary. Is
there any help for me?

If you consistently misspell a word make an autocorrect entry to put it
right.
The problem you have highlighted is consistent with the word being formatted
with no proofing language. (Tools > languate > set language > do not check
spelling or grammar.
