Spellcheck in outlook 2007 with Word 2003

Hi I upgraded outlook 2003 to outlook 2007 and after this the automatic
spellcheck has stopped working in Outlook 2007. The rest of officeprogram as
Word, Excel and Powepoint is still 2003 and the Spellcheck is working fine in
Word 2003

It should work in Outlook - but with the new spell check engine. Have you
tried office diagnostics? Checked the installation to see if you needed to
select the proofing tools? (open add/remove programs, select outlook and
click the option to change and check the installation options.

Thanks for your quick response.

It works if you manually run the spell checker in Outlook2007 but not
automatically when you write a new E-mail. I have inspected the installation
of proofing tools. I have the same problem on all computers that I upgraded
to Outlook 2007.

If I look in the Language Control in Outlook 2007, it is gray. I can not
change anything in the "Spell Check in Outlook" part.

I read in a forum that I have to upgrade the entire office package to 2007
to get this to work, and this is not an option for us. Do you think it is so?
