Spellcheck inside tables

Hi
I'm having trouble shcecking spelling of text that I type inside cells of
tables. I have tried F7 and all the possible settings for spelling and
grammer. I'm using word 2007. it seems it does not even recognize the text
inside tables and skips them completely to the next text within the body! I
also have the same issue with the bibliography. is there a way of checking
spelling of references?

Are you using Excel tables? If you have to double click on the table to edit
it, then you also have to be in the table to spell check it. Try double
clicking on the the table, if it opens in a separate window or with a hatched
outline, click spell check then and it will work.

No they're word tables. I can select the text without double clicking. I just
can't spell check it!
