Spellcheck not working.

When I open any document and hit spell check I get the error: "Word cannot
open spelling file:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\Proof\MSSP3EN.LEX for English (U.S.). I click okay and it doen not
spell check. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times and the same error.

Does the error message actually say "file:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof\MSSP3EN.LEX"? If you use Windows
Explorer or My Computer to browse to the "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof" folder, do you see a file named
MSSP3EN.LEX?

Yes it does actually say this. I browse and find the file, but it has 0 kb
in it. It's basically empty. The others have like 322kb in the other
computers I look at. Any ideas?

If your Help menu has the Detect and Repair option, use it. Otherwise, rerun
setup to reinstall the proofing tools (you should probably delete the 0KB
file first).
