Spellcheck protected sheet

I have created a form which has the users enter in a lot
of text in various parts of the workbook. Because there
are also several calculations going on in the background,
and to preserve formatting I would like to protect the
sheet.

When I try to spellcheck the sheet or the objects which
have text that is not locked, Excel informs me that I
cannot spell check a protected sheet.

Is there a workaround for this?

Matt, Is the entire sheet protected, Tools>Protection>Protect Sheet ?
That is why you can not do the spell check. I you want just certain cells
protected, use the cell protection feature. Format>Cells> Click the
Protection tab and check the Locked check box.
You can hid the formulas by checking the Hidden check box.

The draw back is anyone can unprotect the sheet/cell/workbook unless you
password protect it.
