Spellchecker not ignoring original message Word as editor

How do I make spell checker ignore the original message and address list, in
replies and forwards? I am checking the box in tools/options/spelling to
ignore the original message, but the spell checker keeps checking these
names
and messages using outlook and word 2003 sp2?
