spellchecker still checks original text/message

I'm running Outlook 2003 Professional. I used to run Outlook 2003 Premium.
In Premium, my spellchecker defaulted to not checking the original text when
I was replying to or forwarding a message. Now that I'm running
Professional, it is spellchecking the original text. In Tools/Options/Mail
Format, I have it set as HTML w/ Word 2003 as the editor. In
Tools/Options/Spelling, I have the box checkmarked to ignore original message
text in reply or forward, and yet it continues to do it. I'm stumped. Can
anyone help me to get the Outlook spellchecker to stop checking the original
text? Thank you so much!
