Spelling and Grammar Functionality

I installed Word on a new computer and neither the spelling nor grammar
installed. I went back to the disk and looked for something that I possibly
missed on the installation but couldn't find anything. In the Options menu,
the Spelling and Grammar tab is ghosted. I'm running Word 2002 on XP Pro.
