Help! This Urgent.
I'm using PowerPoint 2004 on my MacBook Pro. I have 2008, but deliberately loaded only Entourage 2008 because I detest the way spellchecking works in PowerPoint 2008 (there is a terrible failure which has been noted by others in the forum). For the rest, I use my 2004 because I need visual basic and I think it is much faster to load etc..

Anyway, the problem is this: every time I try to spellcheck my current PowerPoint doc, the window comes up saying"PowerPoint couldn't find the spelling file for Unknown". If I tick OK in response, the spellchecker comes up and I proceed as usual. this is extremely infuriating as I am producing a very large file and don't want to have to repeat this operation every time I do a spellcheck.

Yesterday, I tried hunting everywhere within the app, finally came across an option where, on scrolling to the bottom of a list of languages, there is an option called' unknown' which I selected. This appeared to fix the problem. However, I cannot remember what route I took!! Since then, I closed PPT and MBPro down overnight. this morning, on reopening PC and Doc, I am back to the same problem. Please help me get rid of this. I have already established that you can't look for the main dictionary.

More BG info: this PPT doc was originated by someone else, probably on a PC, in another country. I have ticked all the languages that could possibly be associated with it, through its journeys from one country to the next (it is a report done to a pro forma and different countries have to produce their own reports based on it),
