Spelling is correct in design view, but incorrect in preview

I have a letter written in a report. The letter is signed "Chief Executive
Officer" in design view, but whenever I go to preview, access changes it to
"Officee."

I also have "new" in another paragraph, but in preview it shows up as
"NNeew." Any ideas?
