SpellingChecked = False ?

Helmut Weber

Hallo alle,

ich möchte Dokumente,
über die andere Benutzer die Rechtschreibprüfung
schon mal laufen ließen, noch mal prüfen.
So wird es eben von den Bossen gewünscht. :-(

ActiveDocument.SpellingChecked = False

tut aber nix.

F7 und dann kommt, sinngemäß, die Meldung.
Die Rechtschreibprüfung ist abgeschlossen.

Sollte aber laut
ActiveDocument.SpellingChecked = False
nicht sein.

ok,

trying once more,

I'd like to check spelling again,
after the previous editor of a doc
has completed check spelling.

That's what my boss demands.

It seems,
ActiveDocument.SpellingChecked = False
is of no use.

As soon as I hit F7,
Word tells me, spellchecking is complete.

I this a known issue?

Glad for the second post. My German isn't so good after just the one
lesson.

Try:
ActiveDocument.Range.SpellingChecked = False

Hi Greg,
ActiveDocument.Range.SpellingChecked = False

Unfortunately, doesn't do anything either.

By the way, it's Word 97 in this case,
but seems to be the same with Word 2002.

Hi Helmut,

We just had this question in here a few days ago...

It's part of the application object - the macro recorder is
your friend!

Application.ResetIgnoreAll
ich möchte Dokumente,

schon mal laufen ließen, noch mal prüfen.
So wird es eben von den Bossen gewünscht. :-(

ActiveDocument.SpellingChecked = False

tut aber nix.

F7 und dann kommt, sinngemäß, die Meldung.
Die Rechtschreibprüfung ist abgeschlossen.

Hi Cindy,

Ok, then I've missed it.

Untested thanks.

I bet it works.
