Spilt Screen Question

J

Joe

I'm trying to fix the upper left corner (Section I) of
the worksheet that is divided like this:

Sec I * Sec II
*
*
*
**************************
Sec III * Sec IV
*
*
*
*
I really only want to split it on the vertical. On the
horizontal I want to keep section II and IV together.
Right now, IV disappears under II when scrolling. But I
want III to disappear under I when scrolling because I'm
trying to fix I. I also want IV to disappear under III
when scrolling.

What do you think?

I am. That's what I meant. Sorry about that. But I still
only want to fix Section I as I described before.

You could open more windows on the same sheet

can't.">>
Not entirely accurate!

Have you tried:
<Window> <NewWindow>,
Then:
<Window> <Arrange>
And choose a configuration that fits your purposes ?

Joe,
I'm not really sure what you are trying to do. If you want to scroll column
A while not scrolling column B, you can't.

There are three ways you can freeze the panes.

1) Select an entire row and then Freeze panes. Now the rows above the
selected row will be frozen when you scroll vertically.

2) Select an entire column and then Freeze panes. Now the columns to the
left of the selected column will be frozen when you scroll horizontally.

3) Select a single cell and then Freeze panes. Now the rows above the
selected cell will be frozen when you scroll vertically AND the columns to
the left of the selected cell will be frozen when you scroll horizontally.

Good Luck,
