Spitting Task using Task Update in PWA 2007

Is there a way for the person assigned a task to show a delay in finishing a
task once it was started from PWA? In PWA 2003 you could enter 0 hours for
days up to when you thought you would get back to working on the task. When
accepted into the schedule it would show it as a split task. Is there a way
to do this in PWA 2007?

Team members can still do this on the My Tasks page in PWA, but your Project
Server administrator needs to display the daily timesheet grid on that page
by editing the My Tasks web part. This is only available after you apply
SP1 to Project Server 2007. Alternately, the team member can also click the
name of the task to see the Assignment Details page, and then enter the
zeroes in the timesheet grid there. Personally speaking, I would simply ask
the team member to contact me, explain the situation, and then I would
adjust the Microsoft Project plan accordingly. Just a thought. Hope this
helps.
