Splash Page

I have already built and published a site, but now I would like to add a
splash page or entrance portal with a banner of photos without a linkbar
(except enter) or page banner.

Can I add a page in front of my home page? If so how? Also can I not
include the linkbar or page banners and footers? How do I make sure this is
the first page that comes up when people hit my site?

Oh...I am using Frontpage 2002.
